Cinnamon Roll Cake

howdy, i hope you all had a great weekend! i did.
on saturday i had completely forgotten to make dessert until about an hour before supper, so i quickly searched pinterest and found this recipe.
it is super quick and easy, the only thing i think i will do differently next time is put it in a bigger pan, it was a little to thick for my liking.
i have been looking for a good white cake recipe that tastes similar to a cake mix from a box for a while, and this might just be the one....i am excited to try it in different ways :)
oh, one more thing, please excuse my photography skills (or lack there of!)...im workin on it ;)

Cake:
1 1/2 cups flour
1 pinch of salt
1/2 cup white sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 cup milk
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 cup margarine (melted)
Topping:
1/2 cup margarine, softened
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 Tbsp. flour
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Glaze:
1 cup icing sugar
2 Tbsp milk
1/2 tsp vanilla

-Mix all ingredients except margarine together
-Slowly stir in melted margarine, mix well.
-Pour into a greased 9-inch pie plate (or something a little bigger), set aside.
-Mix topping ingredients together until well combined.
-Drop evenly over the batter and swirl with a knife.
-Bake @ 350F for 30-40 minutes, until cake is set and a toothpick comes out almost clean.
-Mix glaze ingredients together and drizzle over warm cake.
-ENJOY!
